“We needed a firm who could not only advise on the design of, build and install a kitchen but also complete certified building work, removing a supporting wall between a kitchen and small dining room to create a larger kitchen/breakfast room. Kitchen Transformations were a rare find in this regard.

Not only did they project manage the whole job and co-ordinate between the electricians, plumber, plasterer, builders and carpenters, they dealt with the council building reg’s department as well. The only person we had to find was a structural engineer to provide the calculations for the beam to the council, and we found a decorator to paint the room afterwards, and KT were more than happy to liaise directly with both.
Altogether this saved us a great deal of time as we are in no way qualified to talk expertly to these professions. We also found KT’s quote for the work very competitive given the benefits of recourse to one local point of contact, especially versus the big national kitchen design/install firms.
From the outset with the detailed quote which was duly signed and agreed, we developed a strong trust of the core team working on the project and at all times found them helpful, friendly, hardworking and professional, not only on the build itself but in the way they managed our expectations.
